I have a few routes west of campus that I showed some of the group earlier. I would be more than happy to show you some of the roads I drive, however the speed limits posted are very slow. This was a down side of the last cruise. I did not want to chance making some officers day by providing him the opportunity to pull over ~10 cars for doing 55 in a 35.
Feel free to PM me sometime if you want those routes, I'd be happy to show you them.

hmm... So why's the name of this forum gotta be purdue guys?? I've got a 99 z28 camaro and would love to go on a cruise sometime if there is one! I always really enjoyed the cruise to Indy, went on it a couple of times last year. Don't know if anybody is up for that...I saw some pretty nasty cars up there, so it would probably be fun.

My apologies for the thread name not being politically correct
, but I assure you that you are more than welcome to join us. The other thread currently has all the information available and it will be updated as more information becomes available. I know we are just ironing out the final details this week. Are you the lady that has the Red Z28 with the true duals dumped before the rear axle? If so, I always see the car around campus and it sounds really, really good.

yup, that's me! Yeah, my car is dumped at the rear axle now...and was running open headers towards the end of last year. I busted her up a little bit last week, and she looks pretty ghetto rollin around with one different rim...but I promise I won't be embarassing for long, two rims are currently on their way.
So get this...my car hasn't been running right for over a year. Thought it was just the open headers, put a true dual kit on it. Replaced the O2 sensors. Replaced the fuel filter. Replaced the plugs. NOTHING ever worked...yesterday, I cleaned the air filter and the mass air flow sensor. (which I have never done since I've owned the car...4 years now). My car feels stronger than it EVER has...and I landed on an SS last night. Got him from a roll, and from a dig (even though I spun pretty nasty through first; didn't hook at all.) I can't BELIEVE what a difference that made...I am one happy camper right now.
Tried to see some races in Chi-town last night...anybody notice how hot it's getting lately, towards that area? (if anyone is around there)...the roads like doty, 130th, 131st....used to be great roads to race on. The cops are breaking it up consistently now, and getting really mean about it. (I got trapped by a psycho BITCH chicago cop on a power trip and got accused of racing in a 4 wheel drive full size ASPEN...and got two bullshit tickets to beat last weekend). I hope the cops aren't as crazy out in Lafayette...haven't really had a run-in with them yet. :/ I'm trying to stay out of trouble!!

Nothing against females in this group to my knowledge.. Haven't ever been to Chicago to cruise... Not sure I'd feel comfortable. The cops around here have little to no tollerance.. However, my brother in law is an officer for Lafayette. He spends most nights locking up mopes..

Hey, camarogrl99 you wouldn't happen to be jessica's older sister (janice?) or jessica would you? lol. She's the only girl I know around here with a red Z28 and dumped exhaust...
havent been in here for a while or even on the forumn..i have had alot going on, but good news to everybody..got the car over to the frameshop and the got me taken care of so i will be pulling the car back in when i get it home friday and will be starting the body work...repainting it the same white but puttin stripes on the hood and spoiler and hatch....doing them in black with an outline...should look sick when im done....i doubt i will make the cruise the 18th but the next one i will def be at...
