Any Coasties on here?
Hey DVS, I can tell you Hawaii is not all its cracked up to be. I'm not in the CG, in the Navy, but they do have a cool little bar me and a buddy hang out at every friday night. Probably the cheapest beer on the island.
Yeah but being stationed in a small hick town compared to being there, alot better. If I want to go to best buy, barnes and knoble, or a store other than Walmart I have to drive about an hour

That is very true, but the closest track is 3-4 hours AND a boat ride to another island. I'd rather be in a small hick town than somewhere with no hope for a track.
The track here is right down the street from my house but almost refuse to run there. They have no idea what a good track prep is, and I'm not just saying that. It really sucks unless you have some straight up Hoosiers which I can't afford to constantly buy.
Hey Dave, looking to head to DE Thursday evening to Saturday evening. That is if my girl can pass her DCQ test. I think she will though.

Mike only runs street tires.....
Ummm that what i was talking about Rob. I have no trouble back home at Cecil on a friday night where they don't really prep the track. NorthEast dragstrip sucks unless you have tires and I spun (10.7 @ ??) the entire 1/8th mile with full exhaust, tune and 4.10s. I ran in the mid 8's (8.5-8.6) at Cecil with a 2.1 60' which I can't even get a 9.0 at Northeast. Hence what I said, the track sucks. I also ran a 13.2 @109 (stock) at Cecil with 245/50-16 Goodyear RSAs and know I have a wider tire and still couldn't get traction. Dude my car only made 330whp on the dyno...
Got some bad news, but is looking like I'm penciled in for Kodiak. Hell I am just happy to be out of this area though. I would say that I don't have to put up with mustangs anymore (ha ha rob
) but B Stew is up there, lol. Damn stupid poop d#%@ @(&#*^*? Heaters work and I am taking the 99 TA with me to build it and the TB SS. The WS6 is heading to storage in DE or NC. Haven't decided yet, thought about selling it but will have a hell of a time breaking even with the market so...
I think it is turbo time though

well I just came from Kodiak...the good and the bad, the good-Awesome autohobby, Dave Blain runs the shop, good guy...two lifts all the tools you need
the bad...you own two T/A's and a RWD TBSS...your gonna need a 4wd or atleast a FWD. also good luck getting parts up there, shipping is outrageous and a lot of places wont ship there. gas is really pricy, theres one walmart, two subways and one mcdonalds.
on the other side, great stuff to do out doors, fishing, hunting, 4 wheelin

I know 2 people up there that have RWD cars; a vette and a Mach1. They don't get driven but I am only planning on taking my 99 up there to finish modding it and fine tune it. Going to have a couple years to do it, lol.
