I know here at Sill they make everyone close to ETS status go through a Transition class and help with getting a job and setting up resumes.

Yes they still do that, but it's pretty much just help with resume writing/ websites that are informative in finding a job. It pretty much boils down too " the more you network" the better your chances are in finding a job.

My advice, draft up some sort of a master resume and pay a professional resume writer to polish it up. My federal resume was 5pages long after 15years of usaf. Which isn't bad! But I had a lot of redundant tasks and abilities. My sister cleaned it up and knocked it down to 2pages.

Medsep,11b I'm still entertaining the possible choice of the DPS , but if I can find a job with good pay/benefits for the fam I'd be for it.

Recently separated 11B here. The whole time in I always heard about these six figure jobs on usajobs.gov but no one tells you most of the high speed jobs that pay well require at least a bachelors and several years of relevant experience in the appropriate field.

If you are mechanically inclined, there is a shortage of good building engineers in the commercial office building management industry. Decent pay and benefits usually.
