current combat zone pay?
Once you have been deployed/seperated from your spouse for more than a month, you are entitled to your seperation pay ($250). Finally, you will also be payed a small amount for incedentals (toiletries ect) per day. It's not much as it's usually only $2-$4 a day, but after a long deployment, it does end up to be a bit.
The biggest will really be your tax free. Also check with your banks at home because a lot of time while you are deployed if you have any loans out, you can escape paying any interest on them while you are deployed.
All in all, you make the most money over there not from all what is listed above, but by the simple fact everything is provided for you over there, and there is little to nothing to spend your money on. So, unless your wife is going on a shopping spree while you are gone (mine did
), you should not really have anything major or even minor if you can do without stopping by the shoppette or what have you to pick up cigarette's or magazines. forgot to add per diem is 3 or 3.50 i cant remember.
plus for any calendar month over 12 you get an 1000 a month.
