That may just be a v8 but check out its specs..around 500 hp revs to 7200..Mercedes is not really conservative on some of there engines all of the AMG power plants are built by hand. Although I would miss getting to sound like a jet plane coming down the street I bet it will hit a pretty good lick if the chassis can handle what you throw at it

Pfffff. I could care less about "the real thing". I worked at an importer for quite a while and have driven most of the 80's up to mid 90's Italian and German sports cars... They were built when 450fwhp was MASSIVE (consider Vettes of that period were around 250hp), but by today's standards they're unimpressive... I can almost guarantee you that basement built car has better build quality and the performance isn't even in question... I'm IMPRESSED.
