As for the windows...in the garage I was getting a really nasty reflection of the light off the window when up, so I rolled it down. Failed to notice the driver's side.
Yea, reflections can kill a shot. Something to try is leave the polarizer on if there is enough light and use that to knock the reflections down. Most people never seem to try that indoors. Thats hit or miss though in those light conditions.

I am SO glad I invested in a good multi-layered circular polarizer. Really helps with the reflections.
I chopped out ONE thing in all those pics. It was the reflection of the tripod and camera in one of the parking garage shots.
Been wanting to head out that way for a while now. Lots of family about two hours west of Chicago.
