did everyone see in the comments about the top end debate? That car was moving, but what is the top end speed on f bodys. It cant be more than 180 right, or am I wrong, cause there were some good points brought up in some of the comments.

I've seen and drove a couple of F-bodies to 180+mph.

Jim from Speed inc ran 199mph in Mile with his TT Camaro with low boost and his car was stock looking from the out side and didnt do anything to help the aerodynamic.

One of the guys commenting did some math on it and came up with ~180mph.

After 160mph, I don't think it really even matters.

It was over 180mph I'm sure stock 3.42 gears tires 275-45-16 6400rpm in 5th gear.

that car was a freakin beast.

What amazed me was the way it kept pulling. It was like he just kept shifting into up 3rd gear for the whole run.

in 1996 r&t got a lt1 based 383 formula to 192 mph
