Demote? Not after I kick someones *** in it. Around here, it would fool a lot of people. It has a purpose, being a sleeper makes money, and in a **** hole of an economy right now, I am sure we all could use a little money. My friend had a GN that looked like a POS, rusted, no badging, but was running consistent 11s. That thing won a good bit of money, call it gay, but when you get smoked and don't know why and your short on the money in your pocket, you'll be pretty damn pissed that a "demoted" gay formula just owned you.
i can agree to that^ i had an old gtp sleeper i built that you couldnt tell was modded but ran mid 13's...cleaned ricers pockets every weekend...
and are you guys serious about a banner being in your line of sight? what a ******* joke...it goes over the factory blue dye tinting on the top of your windshield that only sees the sky anyway...

Hard to do on a red car - I tried.
A slate grey would look good - silver cars are easier to do color-wise.
I had a banner that I had made - It said CAMARO (in camaro font) and SS made in the black with red outline, just like on the car and in the same font.
Looked pretty nice and wasn't too big to look retarded.

IMO, you just need to choose the right font, photoshop it, and see what you think. Just let me know what you want it to say and i'll run you a crude picture of what it might look like.
