Default Pics from F-body shoot yesterday....

Yesterday we took pics of a few friends cars to try to get back into learning the strobing again. Unfortunately my favorite place...the bridge company...we got kicked out of!!!! I've gone there many times and never had a problem but last night after we were sitting there for 20 minutes or so waiting on others to arrive this man came over who also had been there 20 minutes picking up trash came over to us with an attitude. At first he was smiling, asked us how we were then it was like a switch went on and he cant this mean look and said " Do you guys work here?". Tim said "No...do you?" Then he said yes he did and he was superindentant or something then said "you know this is private property...you're going to have to leave". Then he proceeded to tell us they had problems with people stealing and we said....uhhh...look at the vehicles we have..what are we going to put in these cars? Maybe a couple 60ft 10-ton support beam? yeah one of those for our back yard. Then he said "well we dont need any problems here. I'm gonna call the cops". What an a$$hole he was!!! We had to move to the end of the entrance and wait for the others to arrive and take everyone about half a mile down the road to another location. It wasnt want what wanted but what could we do.

Anyway here's some of the pics I took yesterday evening. I'm posting a pic here first to show the difference the flash made even in the sun/day. I still have more to learn though about the strobing.

Thanks everyone! Well as soon as I get the interior back together I'll take my car out for some shots. I'm redoing the door panels and console and hope to get done in the next few days. I'm dying to drive it!

I used a Sunpak 383 for those shots triggered by Cactus V2s triggers/recievers. The Sunpak worked like a champ through 340 shots that night. It works great as a slave but I found out the Canon 430EX I have won't work with the triggers so I need to upgrade to a 580EX. The 430 works fine with the 40D but not with those triggers.

That guy was totally smokin something that kicked us out of the bridge company. I never got up there to ask permission from someone higher up then him but hope to next week. I still need to look for another location though. Thing is around here they don't leave many dilapidated things around. Everything is torn down to put stupid houses or shopping centers up. I so want to move out of VA!
