Yes I've had the butt mount Hawks Ls1 thirdgen for a few years now. Its mild bolt ons on the LS1, but I gave up on the rear mount about a year ago and in the process of doing a TT on my new 408 LS motor. Very sweet car man and i agree everyone should have a Thirdgen LS powered car and a turbo just make it all the better

That powerplant is near identical to my current long-term build on my 85. Beautiful car!! Fix those fenders!

Very nice car but now it's time for me to ask a noob question. I have no idea what 3rd gens weigh, whats the weight of the car without you and how different is that from that stock 3rd gens weigh? Sorry but I'm too lazy to search.

V8 cars can be anywhere from 3200-3400 lbs stock. Get a factory lightweight car like a no option Sport Coupe or Firebird and drop an LS1 in and you're looking at weight similar to a C5 Z06.

I've seen an 83 Iron Duke Camaro at 2850 on a 4 corner scale
