Well the motor is finally out and I'm able to pick up my 370 from the machine shop sometime next week, so enjoy .

I had a 75 shot on it the weekend before. At the time it blew up it was running all motor and only turning 6300.

It makes me wonder what happened to cause this... tuning problem maybe? or mechanical?

99% sure tuning wasn't the problem, it was just running real hard for what was done to it. One of the rod bolts broke (you can tell when I got the pieces out) and two other rods just broke in half.

I've read on numerous occasions of people have problems after swapping the bolts rather than just leaving them. Not sure if its due to installer error or something else. I have 100k on the clock with 150 shot, ms4 and other boltons and put down 508/511 on a mustang dyno and have no problems to speak of, other than hitting a damn deer lol. Also I spray to 6200 and spin to 6500 on a regular basis. Plus my car is a 98 which is "supposed" to have weaker rod bolts. Also ive launched my car at 4500-5k numerous times on the stock 10 bolt and still holding up. Guess mines just a freak but im not about to do all the work just to replace the rod bolts.

Before I sold mine it regurarly saw trips to 6500rpm. It also had 120k miles as well.
