in an attempt to get back on topic,

your picture sucks. i hope it didnt take you all day to think of that line. motivational posters are only funny when you have a shot, yet good poke at something/someone. you had a good start with the "inadequacy" but then you just turned it into a pile of **** when you used the (ricer) line everyone uses when they get beat. go buy a blower if you dont like it.

Hmm, I haven't had too much of a hard time against bolt-on LS1's? No blower here. I'd be rich if I got a dollar everytime someone said put a blower on a LSX and see what it can do.

and the joking'ish thread was poking fun at stock vs. stock from the factory 100% off the factory floor with no modifications. i gueess it was to hard for some to read that part

I have a bolt ls1 you can run with a stock longblock no cam and it will give you a run for your money, but thats a different thread. I am a GM man also and I hate it when my buddies put up the blower thing against my ford buddies. The 03-04 cobras are a beast for what they are. My buddy just made 900 rwhp with a stock longblock and twin turbos, right after that though he sold the twins and got a big single and converted it to auto and solid axle. I would never line up against that car after the number I saw at the track.

You posted that pic with your sig showing 511rwhp. What did you expect?

They are 2 completely different motors. Its hard to compare apples to apples. I could care less what badge is on the side of the car. I look at the owner and what they did to their car to make it fast. That gets my respect. Not what type of motor is under the hood.

Dan Millen's 400sbf comes to mind
His SBF is just a little bit different than a stock 4v mod motor.
The fastest 4v mod motor is almost half a second quicker than Dan's
car, but that too is an unfair comparison since that mod motor is
in a tube chassis car with a big tire.

if you are referring to me, i was telling him if he had a problem with the blower on ford, he should buy one. i didnt say "well what if the LS1 came with a blower"

just for clarification. i hate when people do that, so id never wanna be in that crowd.

I just dont think the OP realizes the crazy ammount of potential these built 4V motors can handle. Your LT1 wont even come close to handling the types of numbers a STOCK 4V can lay down without breaking a sweat.

Yeah, I don't think Mighty Mouse can be compared to Millen's car...
I can't think of any 4V's in the 10.5 outlaw class that are very close to Millen or the other SBF and BBF cars though.
