Nice Truck! If you want a handheld tuner get PPE, otherwise EFI live is the best, gauges and exhaust and your set

That's what I've been told. I just hope that I don't get that infamous Injector problem that the LB7's had

That's exactly what I was gonna do to it. MBRP(spell) 4" turbo back. PPE hand-held and some kind of cold air. I'm not trying to kill the stock tranny with gobbs of power. I'm already building a fast Camaro, no need to make the daily extremely fast

you shouldnt have any issues with injectors on an LBZ, just dont put too much power to the stock tranny and you will be fine. you will like the mileage will a little tune and let her breath

Man I would give my left nut to have a D-max. Mydad has one and I offered my truck(2000 Chevy 2500 w/ 6.0) and my built camaro for his and he STILL has death grip on it.

Awesome truck for sure man. Have fun with it!

Dont get and oiled airfilter (K&N ect.) the oil in the filter has caused MAF issues on the Dmax, stick with a dry filter, AmsOil has a good one. you could do the intake mod and save money vs buying aftermarket. the WIX filter is the best for the DMAX owners, that filters down to 4 microns model # 33960.

Fuel filter should be changed roughly every 7500 miles. i wouldn't go over 10K.

feel free to ask any other questions, ive been looking at buying an LBZ for the past 2 yrs and have learned a ton about them lol

They are nice, but will require a little more TLC than a regular gas motor truck

Don't let the size fool you, this D-Max can get it DONE! and it's just stock. Next mods will be 4" turbo back, PPE tuner and CAI

good choice on the PPE, just dont push it over +100hp over stock especially WOT on the 4-5 and 5-6 shift, you can risk limping the tranny.

you will enjoy the mileage gains and extra power

sent you a PM

I love dully's too. They just drive a little more "sturdy" than the others. Plus, they just look better IMO
