The stig was revealed on the show as being Michael Schumacher, f1 racing legend. However that same show, he drove a power lap in a ferrari fxx (dressed in the stig racing suit) because it's HIS PERSONAL CAR (1 of only 30, custom taylored just for him). BCC contract wont allow the real stig identity to be revealed, otherwise that person has to be fired. It's been said by previous "stigs" that it's actually several different people that play the role.
