Im sure thats coming from a ton of personal experience w/ this intake also right lol....Heatsoak has been proven to be BS and I really dont care about a few extra pds, I have no ac equipment so it evens out.

yes it from personal experience on a few cars and many other reviews over the years! Few extra lbs? more like 20 extra lbs maybe even more lol. One car i told him i would make less power then his ls6 intake and he didnt believe me so we put it on and then put it on the dyno and lost 7whp on a cool motor and it didnt even have all the high heat street driving heat soak on it. If your spraying it will cool the intake down but still 20lbs on the front of the car

I dont drag race first of all, 2nd I lost atleast 25 pds from my ac hardware so it evens out. I got the Intake & TB for a good price and I noticed a nice gain over the stock piece, it looks much better then the stock setup (which is why i didnt go LS6). Im very happy w/ it.

If that's what you wanted then there's nothing wrong with that, I like the way it looks.

I have that same 85/85 setup and I can tell you right now, that thing weighs easily over 12lbs. but it does look awsome and I cant complain on performance. I guess everyone has their different opinion. Oh and about the heat, just carry a bag of ice with you everywhere you go. lol.
