I think it was chlorine and alcohol. I remember seeing that somewhere else and the mixture was stated.

We made those as kids, very stupidly. We used to try to shred small saplings, and did it. We got a 2 liter bottle to stretch out to like 4 feet long before exploding, heheh. We shredded the small trees by making the bombs in glass bottles, set it at the base of the tree and run like hell. God that was STUPID.
