Does that edelbrock intake manifold have the **** ported out of it, or does that thing flow well? My buddy was thinking about getting one of those instead of a custom fab job.

I honestly couldn't tell you, but he isn't one to cut corners so quite possibly. The head work that was done was apparently the best, and by the best in their industry.

Yep really cool guys, Alex actually drove the car on the final pass (not in this vid) but he missed third. He blamed it on me because I put the GoPro inside and I told him we'd see how good of a driver he is, lol.

I honestly don't know if Humble tuned it, I would assume so. He had it tuned in Tulsa and that is where their shop is, I'm slowly putting 2 and 2 together!

I hear they flow great. My buddy is using that IM on his 626 hp civic. Built b18 (stock displacement), worked over head, cams, gt35r. .86 AR I think...could be wrong.

That car would get clipped by a H/C/I nitrous LS1, why should I be impressed?

I'm just not afraid of anything with HoMo Co. powering it I guess..

That car traps over 150mph, spinning over 100ft down the track too most likely. Sure, a well setup H/C/I nitrous LS1 would take it in the quarter, but I can't say the same for a 60 roll.

No, roll racing is for cars that can't achieve traction from a stop.

Much like 1000+ hp LSX street cars. You'll find out when you have more than 440 RWHP.

No, roll racing is for people who don't know how to achieve traction from a stop. 1000+hp cars can skate down a prepped street just fine. Lots of "king of the street" races and "no-prep nationals" going on with cars well over 1000 hp.

If you don't want to spend the money and time to make it hook on less than ideal surfaces, then roll race. But it certainly can be done with high hp cars. I can get decently setup 1000hp car on slicks to hook up better on the street than that teg did at the track with nothing more than a couple 2 liters of mountain dew.

A bottle of pimp juice and it will hook as well as on a track.

Different strokes for different folks. I agree, I think the only types of straight line racing worth doing start from a dig. BUT, some people are into roll racing, and that integra looks like it would be mean as hell from a roll.

Prepping the street I just don't understand, if you'll go to that trouble, go to the track. You've obviously never tried to hook up a 1000hp car with impromptu street racing. If you have to get out and poor something down I say do it at the track. At TX2K10 you never know where you are racing, you just do it. This ghey car would wipe you all over the street, dig or roll.

Different strokes for different folks though.

Further more, this thread isn't about roll racing, so unless you have a comment about this video, don't most anymore.

At TX2K10, do they pull names and roads out of a hat or something? When I think of "impromptu" street racing I picture 2 people pulling up to a light going through town and racing. I hope you don't mean random encounters. That is just dangerous and stupid. IMO there should be a place away from the general public that you go to race, and that road usually has some kind of prep on it. If you are doing highway pulls in traffic or racing through stoplights, I don't care how well built or fast the car is, you have no respect in my book.

Lots of LOLs here.

Sick teg however. Quite astonishing how much stock honda transmissions can take. I never even knew of the amazing durability and i swapped a few not too long ago haha

Would love to run into one as built as this on the highway, just to watch it pull buslengths on me.
