Now, to the other subject at hand. I do belive we're the best. However, we have our issues, as all contries have. But, some people in here( wont name names) just dont have pride anymore. Are Americans cocky? Yes. Do we belive we are the best. Yes. Our competitive spirit has made us a real super power over the years.

I think learning that balance is key. For instance, I love competition, when it comes to anything. Even if we're sitting around drinking beers and tossing bottle caps in a cup that's 10 ft away, i'll find a way to make it competitive. But at the same time I don't walk in a room and let everyone know i'm the greatest thing since sliced bread.

 

I agree. Know it, but be humble. I was in the Army for 4 years, been everywhere from Ireland, to Iraq, Korea, ETC. And, ive seen other countries. They had their ups and downs, just like the US. But I knew who I was (American) I didnt act better than anyone else. I made it a point to be good knowing I was in someone Else's country. I had tons of Korean friends. But, I saw how everyone acted and how things were done, and I have to say there was ALOT of western influence.

They love Americans, anything American. Clothes, food. Everything. They wanted to act like us, and talk like us and it was flattering but, humbling at the same time...

So, what im getting at is, Be PROUD of who you are and what your country has accomplished. But, at the same be humble. None of this F other countries and going into other countries illegally with the intent of staying, and flying your flag. If your country is that much better than go back....
