Default First turbo 2011 5.0

2011 Mustang GT

Other than the fabricated turbo kit, everything else is completely stock.

Dyno pulls were at 6psi, I'll let the video show the numbers.

Fair numbers, but why go straight to a turbo kit without any other basic supporting mods?

I imagine it'll be fine with just 6 lbs on it. I bet that ****** scoots though, pretty solid numbers.

Because Fords don't need full exhaust, cams, and head swaps to make good power from forced induction kits.

Is it a shop car that wanted the title of first 2011 GT turbo or just some dude? Definately cool sounding.
The turbo looks big but sounds like it spools fast. Any ideas on specs? Did they have to do anythign with fuel? IE injectors lines pumps. I dunno how big they come with. And i know that doesnt matter for the stock comment. Lets see some pulls on the street!! NAO!!

I imagine minor bolt ons would improve that number quite a bit... im saying I would add exhaust atleast before jumping right at a turbo kit. Not to mention the car has 11:1 compression and powdered rods.... just not a well thought out build. Maybe they just wanted to be the first

Let's assume that you have a decent suspension setup and your car hooks.
Would you rather have your dyno graph say 500rwhp or 900rwhp?
While track performance is the key, dyno numbers absolutely DO mean
something. They tell you how much power you're making...and power is
what's needed to get down the track. Pretty straight forward IMO.

BTW...very nice numbers from the 5.0 from 6psi. Let's see some specs on that
turbo though.

None of my posts are to ever start ****. I have nothing but respect for the ls motors. I don't know about you but I like to be somewhat knowledgeable about cars that I could run into on the street

If you read the description about the video they state that they were doing it with a stock motor and they also have another 5.0 that they are going to put forged internals in and see what it can make on higher boost like 15lbs

The only numbers that matter are the ones at the end of the 1320.

Where do the 5.0's redline at?
