For one he BARELY came off idle, i bet he didn't break 1800rpm till he pulled away. (which is when the video stops....why?!?!)
All you can hear is a little exhaust note being drowned out by a bunch of turbo spooling which hints that this car is dragging around some heavy *****.
But how can you say something sounds like **** if you don't know what the rest of the rpm range sounds like? One can only ASSume.
That's like listening to an F1 cars idle alone and saying they generally sound like crap.
I've never heard a tractor that sounded like that unless i was at a tractor pull event, and the only thing similar there was the turbo spooling.
If anyone wants to get rid of their viper(s) because they sound like a 'tractor', please pm me and i will come get it free of charge.
Are there any videos floating around of this thing above 2krpm? lol

I do too. But the sound a turbo makes at idle is minuscule compared to the compressor noise coming out of say a procharger so his comment on the turbos sound affecting engine sound is a moot point.

Think about it, If your turbo didn't spin at all it would create a seal in your intake (like placing your hand over the end of the intake) and it would starve the engine.
Also...turbos have a slight muffling effect and often make cars quieter until they get into the throttle and produce boost.
Which, further supports my comment about the low rpms in the video and the fact that people were hearing the car at it's quietest - you hear more turbo spooling in the video than exhaust almost...
You've never heard of 'rotary mufflers'?
And yes...that whistling sound you hear is the sound of the turbos spinning/spooling.....what did you think it was?
