There's no point to having this kind of motor if you are a "regular joe"... Maintenance would cost more than what you would pay for this from ebay

Yes, there are way cheaper ways.

The thing you don't understand is this engine has been at essentially WOT for thousands of miles. They're built for endurance and power. How many normal 600hp builds can you think of that can handle being raced for 24H straight at almost max RPM the entire time without a single hiccup?

These guys did it, beating Porsche and Ferrari at their own game many times over.

And you would need to do this on the street why? I mean i guess if you have the cash why not but i dont see any practical use for something like this for the typical chinabay consumer

It's not a street motor at all. That thing is a high strung NA race motor. I could see this going into a road race prepped LSx car or maybe a Factory 5 GTM. Would be great for HPDE's, Time Attacks or some other events like NASA.
