Arrow GoPro users step in...

My GoPro should be here by the end of this week and I had a couple questions.

1. What editing programs are you using?

2. What size card are you using? (I was told to use 16GB)

3. Any added tips/tricks you've got from using it?

4. Favorite mount spot for races?

Thanks.

1. WMM will be upgrading though
2. 16g
3. for me using the open back is better than the fully sealed one, the fully sealed one has more wind noise than the open back everytime i have used it.
4. Rear hatch either on side or very top.

I was told the open back gets terrible wind noise north of 100mph. You experienced otherwise?

yea all my video's are with the open back, when I put the closed back on you get wind noise at like 30 mph for some reason.

Hmm, that's odd. I'll just have to do some testing with it to see what works.

How durable is it? Ever fallen off on you?

I use open back, mounted hanging down inside my car from my passenger t-top.

I put it in low light mode for night racing(Spt or something... I forget which). Works pretty well so far.

Also works well outside the car on the quarter panel, but it needs to be perched high enough to clear your side view mirror.

Gaunt, did you download the new firmware or whatever? I was told that helps out night vids a lot.

see how in the second video he posted it's crazy wind noise. With the open back on mine it seems like the wind noise is not as bad. I'll do some test's on mine and see which way is best.

I had no idea there was a firmware update

I got it at Christmas, so if there was an update since then... I need to get on that lol.

Well that is just what Beans told me, don't know when it was. He just told me that when I get it that I should do that. Shoot him a PM and he'll fill you in.

Just got mine today, now I just need to figure out which size card to buy. I think 16MB is what I'll go with. What kind of record times are you guys getting (and what size card are you running)?

you best bet is to use a 16gb card cause it holds as much video as the battery lasts. usually 2.5 hours for a fully charged battery.

Is this card good enough?

EDIT: I guess I should ask, will any 16GB card be good enough?

So it's overkill? I just picked one at random. If I can go cheaper and still get a ?class 4? then I'm all for it.
