BTW...jmm98ls1...your 85 Silverado is awesome! My first ride at 16 was a 1977 GMC Royal Sierra. I loved that truck and miss it like crazy. But I still own it, its just sitting 1300 miles away at my brothers shop in Texas..lol

No i got out of the Army in November of 07, and moved down here to Tampa to be closer to some extended family. I do miss Tennessee though! I dont know where you are in relation to Clarksville, but there was this cool little shortcut from Ft. Campbell to I-40 if you took Highway 48 South. All the twists and turns with an actual countryside to look at while driving...that was always amazing..wished I would have had the SS back then for that road..lol.

Man I love that truck. Always wanted an 80's Silverado, but they emission test around here, so its kind of hard to rip out that crappy 305 and put in something beast like that 383 in there. I thought about doing a 5.3/4l60e out of a newer truck, but the wiring would be way over my head.

When it's not totally shitty and rainy I take my 99 T/A:
When I don't feel like being completely obnoxious I take my $400 awesome 98 Regal GS. 3.4 + Bolt ons
