2000 Cam only Camaro SS vs 2004 Pullied Cobra
Hey guys I went out with a good friend of mine and finally got some good races against his cobra. Quick video nothing special, just 2 50 mph rolls. I wish I could have pulled longer, but cobra stopped pulling around 115mph for some reason.
Mods are:
SS(mods in sig) 238/240 (HPE-S cam) LT's/ open cutout, 3.91 gears and 555r's. Car mad 403rwhp SAE but consistently traps 122 mph
.
Cobra has 2.75" upper pulley, CAI, catted x-pipe, catback, tune. Car traps 118-119mph. ~460rwhp
Both cars had 1 passenger and yes the t-tops where off and in the trunk lol.
Im in the process of making my own Ram air intake but these runs dont include that, anyway Enjoy and I'll keep new mods/more cars with vids updated.

3500 race weight... doesn't have 410s.. manual.. spins a bit.. I'm sure halfway decent air.. big cam.
Really about right on par. With good heads he should be around 125, fast intake 127, weight reduction close to 130. It is on the higher end but not unbelievable by any means. It is what a manual is capable of running given a proper setup.

Very nice!!! Sounds mean too!
Pretty soon, I should be runnin my neighbors stock '11 GT500 and I will try to get it on vid. Not really sure what to expect, but we're planning a 25 mph roll or so.

@Lemons12- Thanks man i also agree that its all a proper combination on a 6spd car. Weight was at 3620lb with me in it with the old true duals setup. Now I added TSP ORY y with cutout and SLP Dual Dual catback for what ever that weighs extra?? 3.91 gears and The 11.76 run at 122.8 was a slight bog on the launch on purpose to save the 10 bolt a little lol, no spinning how ever. Although spinning all of first gear will net me no slower that a 12.0@121xxmph.
Nice I would like to see a good race btwn a cam'd ls1 and a gt500. Drive it like you stole it!
He's been telling me since day one how he's gonna walk me but I've been keeping my mouth shut til it goes down. He works nights and weekends so we've been trying to get this lined up for months now, but I've been pushin the issue a little harder the last few weeks.Shay
We left exactly the same time on that run, where as the second run he got a very slight hit. It was just so hard to hear the damn honks over my shitbox lol.
What I meant was you made it look like he was standing still. Great runs. Love seeing a cobra get his *** handed to him.
