Halo, The Film.
In the past, he's produced some short films paying tribute to individual cars, as well as a new style for shooting racing film. Here are a few quality examples, for reference:

Right now, the current focus is on a much bigger project; Halo, the film. It's in the casting and marketing phase right now, with already a lot invested. The objective is to gauge viewer interest and present Microsoft, who holds the rights to Halo, with the film and then take it to the silver screen.
In a nutshell, the point of this post is to somewhat spread the word. Whether you're at the edge of your seat fascinated, or just browsing the web out of boredom, check out his Vimeo page ("Innocent Sinner" and "Loveheist" are my two favorites), as well as some of the promo sites he made for Halo.

I have a problem with the audio in the last link, however it plays perfectly on his speakers. Odd, and the first time I've experienced this. I apologize on his behalf if anyone else has the same issue.
Yeah, I agree with you. I think there are enough gamers out there that would definitely go see it. I never played Halo (well, a couple times over the years, but never owned the game), but I would go see because he's talented enough to make interesting/dramatic film.
Now to just spread the word enough, and maybe a few of the right people will throw a couple bucks in the pot here & there and help make this happen. Here's to hoping
I thought it turned out pretty good when all cut together into one film including pretty decent action footage and a driveable warthog. Love the brute chieftain who eats a direct hit rocket at the end:

I'd definitely love to see a Halo movie, and believe it will definitely get made at some point. Too much money in it with a rich story to not get a big budget movie made. Bungie, and I guess 343 Studios/microsoft now, has a huge say in the movie getting made and how, and I doubt they're going to go with small group of unknowns. Originally the Halo movie had Peter Jackson behind it recommending Neil Blomkampt or whatever his name is to direct. Maybe you guys can land an opportunity to work on ads and such for the next Halo game if you grab attention with this project. They've done live action ads for the last few games that I thought were pretty cool...

Any help is appreciated. Heck, even if it's just to get your name in the "Thank You" Section of the credits

I'm not expecting anyone here to donate a $1,000 or anything. Maybe 10 dollars or 25 even if your bank account can spare it, and if you've enjoyed any of the old videos on YouTube, and look forward to new stuff from this director.
Thanks
Official trailer is out as of two days ago.

Not sure why the forum's auto-embed feature is splitting the post, but my apologize.
