The tune. We ran a few months ago when I was untuned and still on the LS1 intake. He took me by about two cars.

The Benz must be stock because we have a E55 AMG and a C63 AMG and they pretty much kill H/C/I f-bodies and they are both not stock. The E55 has gone 10.70's at the track.

Its definitely stock. He also has a slight supercharger clutch slip that is costing him around 20whp. On the dyno the AMG put down 390rwhp and 440 lb/tq. So if he were at full power we should be about even. I havnt dynoed my car but I should be around 350rwhp. Stock SL55 AMGs run mostly mid 12s trapping around 112-116.

The guy with the e55 down here had an S55 AMG but he wanted a smaller car for the weight advantage so he went and got the E55

nice kill. a guy in my college has one of those. he took me by 2 cars when i was on stock exhaust, wonder if i can take him by now. they arent really fast cars tho.

They are heavy boats though. Have you seen the curb weight of the 4 door AMG benz's. They have f-bodies beat by good margin on weight and still manage to run 12 sec 1/4's in stock form.

It also only takes a couple of mods to make them stupid fast. The car I mentioned previously only has 4 mods done to it. Heat exchanger has been changed and a pulley change, exhaust and a tune.

But to sneak up on an unsuspecting person who thinks they are going to bust this big *** benz up on the street and then the benz proceeds to put bus lengths on an fbody or any car for that matter is priceless.

Yeah those AMGs are pigs, but they are stupid nice. Like you said all it takes is a pully and tune and those cars are NASTY. Problem is the pully and tune will cost you around $2k.
