Its a northstar block, I have the guys in parts keeping an eye out for a core aluminum 5.3 block for me though

Very cool. I saw a guy use a block to hold bottles of wine in the cylinders. I want to make a camshaft lamp myself.

Looks good!! Can't wait to finish mine. Waiting on a day off to go get the glass cut unless I come across a cheap glass top coffee table at a garage sale. Also have my stock camshaft that I'll be making a lamp out of. I have a large collection of model cars that I think it'll light up nicely
