this is my buddys uncles cars. he told me its ls7 powered but he got no engine bay pics.

but its still badass!!

I really like, but looks like he could use some head rests on those seats. They look pretty low to me. You could get some serious whiplash in that. But maybe it's just the way the pic is.

Nope, those seats really are that low cut. Back when those cars were new, most car seats (at least, seats for that platform) were about that height at the cutoff. My uncle has a set of bucket seats from a similar year Chevelle in his 69 Nova and they feel like a 1 person bench seat. No side or upper body support at all. lol
