Whats the best GO-PRO angle?
I just ordered a GO-PRO HD with all the motorsports mounts. I'll be taking it to the track tomorrow and will also be using it for street racing in the future.
Just wondering what the best location to mount it is? I want an angle that will show the person I beat, or who beats me. I'm thinking just facing directly toward the opposite lane. Maybe angled back if I think I'm going to win?
Whats your opinion?

Almost need two for that.
I really liked having it inside of the car at the top of the hatch in upside down mode facing the front windshield.
Could easily see where you were going, the tach, and out both windows.
Of course I was usually the slowest so I had it facing forwards =P

Mount it on the sail panel,
-facing slightly sideways but backwards if you think you'll win.
-facing slightly sideways but forwards if you think you'll lose.
Tough to describe, I'll have to get a picture of how I did it on my friend's car. Here's a video from the view I'm describing. (I had to adjust if further backwards to keep him in the shot )

I'll have to mount in on the Focus to show you if you don't understand what I'm saying. Or you can do as one of our local guys did and be a part of Team GoPro straightback, when you know you're going to slaughter the other guy.
