That's a BBC, right?

I thought cars in that class had to use the same engine block as the production version, or will any engine fly as long as it's currently built by Chevrolet?

Valve covers look small for a BBC to me and it has a distributor up front (BBC would be in back)...some kind of perimeter bolt lsx heads?

It's just a crank driven distributor. You can put them on pretty much any motor. It looks like a BB to me.

The headers led me to believe it was a BBC, but wtf do I know , it does look kind of small.
