26x10-15 slicks
seems the 28x10.5's are starting to be the tire size of choice, post up pics of f-bodies on 26x10-15. Im going w/ a M/T Drag and want to see some others 4th gens with the same size slicks on the rear

... rear tire size depends on power level, n/a, bottle or boosted, 1/8-mile or 1/4-mile, auto or M6, rev limiter set-point, hp/torque peaks and rear gear. Don't run a 28" because it's the tire size choice others have made. Ultimately, you want to cross that final line in a 1:1 gear just before your rev limiter in a strip car. Balancing these factors can be difficult in a street car or street/strip car.

Unfortunately I can't make it this year. I was wanting to go, but I'm getting married in November and won't have enough vacation so it's all goin to the honeymoon. Next year I'm definately gonna be there.

IIRC mine crosses the traps @ 116 with a 4.11 gear running a 26x11.50x15 @ 6300-6400. My limiter is at 6800 but I shift at 6500. Cam only/M6 setup.

Luckily I already have a baby carriage, so the goal is to somewhat finish doing all I can so that when the time comes, I won't be nickle and dimeing the car. I have a friend that lives down there so I may see about getting away for the weekend as well. Prolly better action on the weekend anyways

depends on setup/motor powerband/susp etc etc
My best 60' time with my 3800lb SS was with the 26's. 4.86 gears and 126 trap speed, you guys do the math on the RPM's. Stock short 6.0L with arp's.

but did still did decent with 28's but had to turn up the launch rpm to about 7400. like this here

I looked in your gallery and didn't see any other photos with the 26/11.5's. Do you have other photos? Obviously these are QTP's since Hoosier slicks only list 26/10's.
I originally was thinking about 28's so as not to run out of gear in the 1/4, but since I will probably mostly be running 1/8-mile next year, I am now thinking 26's.
