When I wanted to get rid of some old tires and get it on video, guess what I did? I contacted the local PD and told them what I wanted to do, they met me at a parking lot and took me to a old road where nobody ever is anymore. They supervised to make it legal, and absolutely no chance of hitting anyone when the burnout gets out of control, which can happen.

wow. make all the excuses you want, man... that's just reckless and irresponsible. every one of us with a performance car has to show a little maturity and restraint once in a while, primary example being a ******* NEIGHBORHOOD STREET. i'm sure you think 35 mph is nothing, but had a kid/dog/midget run out from behind one of those cars to see 'what all the noise was' you'd be in jail right now with the world's weight on your shoulders instead of in the e-oven.
don't get pissy at the responses in this thread, just learn from your mistake and move on. regardless of how in control one thinks they are, ANYTHING can happen in the blink of an eye and you don't want to be responsible for something tragic... especially due to something as idiotic as a burnout on a road like that.
take it to a private parking lot where there are no cars/people around and you can actually SEE the path your car will take when you let off the brake.
oh yeah, car sounds and looks amazing.
