cam lamp hey everyone just wanted to post up a pic of my bordom on my day off yesterday
took my old cam that was just sitting around and some random parts I had laying around and built a working label lamp, the shade will be chance out to a somthing alittle more gear head like but that is what i had around

seems like a good use of an old worn out stock cam to me.
Yea man, go to lowes and get a cheap shade for it, it'll look better.
Already looks great, seems more practical than the engine block coffee table I've seen on the net too.

That was my first thought but uh.. wouldn't he need some kind of hardened trill or something to make a hole like that?
This seems like a cool idea really.. I might give it a shot if I ever find myself with a cam sitting around.
