LOL yeah. Everytime the local cops here get in and it makes the news with a headline like "high speed pursuit on I-5, speeds in excess of 120mph...tonight at 11". I just laugh my fricken *** off. I would love to see what would happen if I tried to make a run from them. The news crew choppers wouldnt even be able to keep up LOL! My father in law is the chief of police in a town in idaho, I keep telling him he needs to put a light bar on my car and I could be the "interceptor" car for those high speed pursuits (ala Mad Max). But they have a "no Chase" policy unless its a violent offender.
I did see a "world scariest police chases" show one time when they were chacing a couple skin heads in a triple black 97 SS camaro. Yeah, they toyed with the cops. On the same show they had some cops in europe chasing an M5 down the road. Guy in the M5 would slow down till they caught up and then would nail it and run out of thier site he did that over and over till the cops gave up.

Yea I remember seeing a video of a Lotus running from a cop, well it was more like Lotus speeds up and the cop never sees him again. Also has anyone seen the video of a C4 Corvette running from the cops at over 150 MPH, he was kicking the cops *** untill he wrecked into a 18 wheeler and was thrown from the car, but amazingly he didnt have a scratch on him!
