The Rolling Shots Thread
The Best V8 Stories One Small Block at Time
Looks like for 2 of the pics I looked at so far, the shutter was 1/50 or 1/30, lowest ISO possible, and a high f-stop. The steadier your hand the better they'll come out if you're not using a rig. If you have a real steady hand, try for a shutter speed near a full second coupled with some sort of filter that will drop your exposure down a few stops.
I took this at 1/20, f/18, and ISO 200 (lowest my D40 will go), but I also have a polarizing filter that drops exposure down I believe a full 2 stops. Which lets me keep the f-stop reasonable while also keeping the shutter open longer. Now both of these are decently edited to add some color and contrast, but you get the idea of what can be accomplished with the correct settings

And this Scion was at 1/30 but at f/10 to allow for some additional background blurring:

I can't wait for summer to get here so I can get some rollers of my car!

Never knew that!, Thanks for the information. I know what I will be doing this summer. Now to find a friend worthy enough to handle my camera.
