New pics and update on the Z06. Thought I would share some pics of my Z06 from the Texas Invitational. The event was an absolute blast. The car didn't perform up to snuff due to some stupid issues, but that's a story for another day. I still enjoyed the chance to get out and stretch's the cars legs and watch some great racing.
I did manage to blow up the YSi while griding up for the 6 speed shoot out though. So its back down for some upgrades both performance and safety wise. Its getting a big procharger and new intercooler, c/overs and some C6 Z06 front brakes along with a 6pt cage (w/swing outs) and a parachute. Stopping in 1,500ft destroyed my brakes.
Run down from the build up over last winter. Iron block 370 cubes, PRC237 heads, Vic Jr, huge fuel system(magnafuel 4703, 255 in tank, ID2K's) Vortech YSi, Nitrous Outlet single nozzle kit, mini tub and 345/35/18's. Haven't gotten any real dyno numbers out of it. It did make 903/845 on 7 cylinders no nitrous(blown headgasket the weekend before TI). Enough rambling, here's some pics.
On the way down. My wife's Gator got the call for tow pig duty since I sold my F350 the week before the event.

Best MPH was 165 and it only made 20psi on that pass. I wish I could have gotten one or two passes in with out any boost leaks. I kept fighting busted vaccum lines all weekend. I see no reason it wouldn't have run in the 170s on full tilt. But that's the life of an untested car.
