Default VOLT vs Tesla Model S

It's just a drag race, but the result may stun some people to a degree. I found the "commentary" humorous also. Like other stuff I see elsewhere, this may not be new at all, but I just saw it.

Yea, I've driven one briefly, just enough to know it's really f'in fast! Afterwards I looked it up and saw a magazine drag race where it blew away a new M5. Pretty cool car, looks like a matchbox car underneath.

Pretty much what I'd expect. I guess they're the only company willing to make an electric car worth owning. They are definitely making the bar for what an electric car should be for sure. I've seen one in person, and it was amazing to see some of the engineering that went into the car. It's nice to see the small stuff thought through completely.

This just in, electric cars launch well. From a roll the Tesla wouldn't feel all that strong though. Certainly nowhere in the league of a new M5 which people like to cite it beating from a dig.

This just in : a car with the word "performance" in the name is quicker than an economy car!

They're actually really quick even from a 50 punch since they're constantly in the party gear. But I agree, the only chance these cars have against an F10 M5 is from a dig. Electric cars just can't hang up top.

Winning a drag race is fun and I suspect it's hilariously fun in a car that makes no noise from the motor... That said, no way would this Tesla be a replacement for my M5 if I had one for the simple fact that I'm constantly having to turn and go places.

Cool car and all, but not really enough overall performance for me, particularly at that price point.

Yeah I'm not saying they're pitifully slow but the comparisons with F10 M5s that people love to make are absurd.

I want to pay my homage to dinosaurs, so no disagreement, but Tesla is the only performance oriented electric car that is produced in enough volume that you'll, know about.

12.5 for an Electric 7 seater that get 250+ miles per full charge. I'm impressed!

1. It runs 12s
2. It costs well over $100,000
3. It requires a tow truck on call

Impressive?
