2014 camaro SS looks pretty good Idk if it's just because I'm tired of seeing a million 5th gens with the same rally stripe color combo or if I just really think this one looks better but the grill makes it look more aggressive and the tail lights look better in person. I am kinda disappointed they didn't change up some body lines on the sides on the car tho
I saw a new one of these in person last week and I would have to disagree I do not like the new look at all. The front is decent but nothing inspiring and I hate the rear lights, very blah to me. I was hoping for a bit more of a design change and think it just fell a bit short.

IMO all the cosmetic exterior changes for this "update" were a step down.
i saw one a couple weeks ago in traffic when i was in florida. i saw it from behind and thought WTF is that.
it looked funky but when i got a side view it looked better.
those pictures look good imo. i like that hood vent too.

i like the refresh on the front and rear, it was time. i think it will take some time to get used to it, like most MCE's post some side by sides in the same colors and then you'll have a better idea as to whether its nicer.
I hated the refresh in pics, but in person I actually prefer the 14's over the 10-13's. With the exception of that ugly out of place chrome eyebrow, that thing would be history the day I brought the car home. To me the rear end, in t he grand scheme of the whole retro thing, looks more like a modern 1st gen rear than the 10-13 was. I see that over a Prelude.

Can't get over how terrible those stripes look with that hood scoop. But I agree with the chrome peice. The blue one looked better in person to me but like I said maybe its just refreshing to see something different than the 10000000000 camaros that I see driving around

i think with the update they copied fords idea with the mustang and "squished" the grill, and in the rear they clearly modeled the prelude haha.
IMO GM has been doing great with listening to their customers demands besides the camaro. I think the camaro looks good and I love the IRS system but they really need to change the retro look already. Mustang, Challenger, Camaro someones got to change it and it looks like mustang may be the first with the 2015 mustang but it still looks similar to the retro look.
Dont get me wrong, I love the 5th gen camaros but with ford beating it in the straight line because of the weight differences is killing the camaro IMO
if they made this car (obviously a whole redesign) with the IRS and somehow cut down 500lbs, give or take, they would have the market over the mustang. then it wouldnt be as much of a pig in a drag race and it would still beat the crap out of the mustang in the curves.
