Ironically I saw that episode shortly after seeing this thread. It is 100% the same from counting cars to this thread.

1200 hp? Two 4.8 engines with a turbo each and you could have 1500 without trying. I am sure with blowers you could make the same especially with two per engine!

yeah..remember seein it on Counting cars. Danny also went back on another episode and bought a 72 mopar (IIRC) off this guy. he had an assortment of cars he wasnt willing to sell Danny.
