Look what I just found!! I was looking yesterday and I saw a pretty nasty scar on my tire. It's on the inside edge of the driver's front tire. I'm lucky I caught it when I did!

I am a bit surprised, but you are right. I have about 20,000+ miles on these tires and alignment is off so tread is pretty much gone.
