MJSLude99-So if we can't solve terrorism through "peace and harmony" as you put it, i guess a war should solve it then right? Well since there have been more terrorist attacks in the past year than in the past 10 years i guess that about proves that as total BS. Did you happen to catch the terrorists in Russia currently holding an entire school hostage? Yeah, nice success on the war on terror.
How many terrorist attacks have occured directly on American soil since we've gone to war? Being a teacher usual does go hand in hand with being liberal, but education has nothing to do with political parties. I work at Sandia National Labs in New Mexico (primarily a nuclear weapons lab). Scope it: www.sandia.gov 7,500 people work there and the vast majority are college educated (1,500 of which are Phd's). About half of the employees are Republican. This pretty much cancels the "education goes with political party idea".
The first atomic bombs that were used to end WWII were also partially developed at Sandia Labs (just a bit of reference). Those bombs helped us win WWII and helped us to become allies with Japan. Who says using force in the Middle East won't net the same results?

I said nothing about education and political parties going together. I said ask their opinion on Bush. I really could care less about political parties and think the whole Democrat vs Republican rivalry is probably the biggest waste of time in the history of our country. How bout working together to make the country a better place, not "oh **** he's a republican/democrat so **** him i won't help his ***."

I'm not a republican, but even a republican in his/her right mind would not think of BUSH as a good president.

All of the Republicans I know support Bush. Well guys it has been a hard week for me and probably for you guys too. So let's just call this all quits and enjoy the weekend. My post from last night was just some venting of a sort.

Peace is a good thing, but there are prices to be paid to obtain peace.
