Go ahead a buy you a little girls car! j/k

GM did make them better (LS1 F-Bodies), thats why I bought 2. They never sold because they never would advertise the damn things.

I like Mustangs (some) and I respect them (some), but the more I look at the 2005 Stang the more I want to vomit. The old school look is getting old, fast.

"I got retro car,
I got retro car,
I got retro car yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!"
Ok, <--- dawns flame suit LOL. I have driven quite a few fbodies and I will say this. The interior of the 4th gens suck. The shifter for a stick car is too far forward and high for my liking. The long *** hood with the long *** dashboard that is about 2" shy of chin high on me and I'm about 5'10" gives you the driving in a bathtub feeling. A sub 5' 10" woman (which most are) is probiably gonna have problems with. Not gonna say they all would but most would. It's a PITA to get into with the low slug long doors. Basically it was a gearheads car. The powertrain in those cars is what made them sell at all in my opinion. The SN95 stangs were easier to get into ect ect which would mean something to a chick. Just food for thought.

OMG! LMAO!!! Have you driven a newer Stang? OMG! I have driven a few 03' Cobra's and to "get" 3rd gear you have to move the seat ALL the way forward, I'm 5'11" and my knees are in the dash almost up to my hip. I could steer with my tongue if I had to, and 3rd gear is still hard to reach, hell I still grinded 3rd gear one time!

The f-bodies is not forward at all, it can be a little high but that is one of the 1st mods you do with an M6.

Now the reason's girls like them more as far as easier to get in and out of, and seeing over the long raking hood is all probably true. There's also brand loyals, and others that just like it better. Bottom line: To each their own.

Peace,
Craig.

ain't that the truth....as the old saying goes, "Opinions are like ********, everyone has one...."

personally, i like the look of the new mustang, it's just those damn butt-***-ugly rims that Ford puts on them that make it look kinda nasty. that's one thing that i've seen a trend with when it comes to Ford.....ugly-*** rims.

about the only real exception would be the Bullitt-style rims, and the Cobra rims. the stock V6 rims=
the Mach 1 rims=
most of the rest of Ford's vehicles' rims=

i like both the GTO and the new Mustang, but if i was going to buy a GTO, i'd wait until the 2005 model with the LS2. and i like the fact that the GTO comes with a 6-spd manual tranny instead of Ford's 5-speed.

Ok I am 6ft 1in, I cannot drive in a Mustang....They are for shorter people....Hance 6ft and under....I drove my Supervisor's 03 GT, and I hated it, all 10 minutes I was behind the wheel.
Yes, the Mustang out sells the Camaro, and Trans Ams, Firebird's. But I prefer my Fbody (2k WS6)....I actually have to move my seat forward a lil bit to depress the Clutch all the way...

I like the new retro look on the new stang(Cant wait to get back state side to see one though, donthave them here in Iraq, LOL), But GM has to get off there *** and bring them back or improve them or something, or they are going to end up like the Supra, Killer car but lack of intrest do to high prices....The GTO is not living up to what they were hoping, and I personally dont think that the "NEW" charger isnt going to do that well either.....

GM needs some help, and desprately!!
