RC plane crash. (poor quality vid)
A good friend of mine and I both bought 'starter' electric planes last year. We joke around saying "We don't "fly" them - we just crash them". This morning was the first time either of us brought a camera with us. These planes USUALLY take a real good beating and keep on going after minior repairs. Not this time. We shouldn't have been flying in the wind we had this morning. Probably 25mph gusts. We figure 'what the hell, it's worth it for the humor factor'.
I happened to get my friends only flight of the day on film here. All 6 seconds worth
You'll have to excuse my "jolly" laugh too.
The noise freakin' cracks me up.My friend here just put a bran-new main wing and tail on the plane. The main wing seperated from the body - the prop ate a chunk out of the back of it - the rubber bands that were supposed to secure it cut slices in the front endge. The V-tail split right in two. It was only held on be the fishing-line control lines. Even our worst days don't end THIS quick.

It missed the field we were flying from and instead came down in a farmers mud field next to the flying field. I had to dig 2 ft into the muck to retrieve my engine and radio gear. There was nothing left of the plane but splinters. There was also about 5 of my good buddys standing there watching me and laughing their asses off
oh yeah good times lol !
