Because i think that's how the installed it at the factory.
BUT i have seen many people use an engine hoist/crane thingy do-dad...just gotta use it carefully. Only seen 2 or 3 removed my self. some of your hardcore mechanics could tell you which way is best for sure.
As for the garage pic...love it, it's my new background.
