IR stands for Infa red right? So... was that practice or were they really attacking an actual target.

One of my buddies has some DVD's that a few soldiers burned for us while we were in Iraq. Tons of video like that..plus alot where you see the bad guys getting blown up. Some of the best were the videos that the KBR truck drivers took while on convoys in Iraq..some messed up stuff going on over there. Glad I'm back home.

I really like hear you guys say how much you guys like and support the Military. . . . Makes me feel better think back when i was in Germany and saw all the HR's come in and its awsome to know that it isn't for nothing, and that they're/we're supported. Just watching the news you think all of America is against the Military.

On a lighter note would definetly not want to be on the revieving end of anything our Military can dish out.

That was pretty wild. What was that firing after the first cannon burst...a 50?

I saw three Cobras firing at a distance in 70 outside of the Cu Chi base camp. If you saw We Were Soldiers and remember the Huey gunship at the end firing the mini guns...well the Cobras (at least in that configuration) had one of those and two 2.75 diameter rocket pods. Every 5th round was a tracer and it looked almost like a solid red streak to the ground. The rockets would hit and you'd see a hemisphere of light each time.

They may have been a mile or so away. Didn't see any fire going up toward them.
