Default My First Video...

All footage was shot last night at the track and created using Sony Vegas Video 6.0, a Sony Handycam, TMPGEnc, and a creative imagination...

You Cobra fans will love it

I found it amusing... his excuse better be he just bought the car 2 weeks ago, its a stick (his first one), his first time at the track, and his first muscle car.... if not... I think I just found someone to go up against my 1st time at the track in my first muscle car/stick...

Oh and he had a S/C'd GT before this car, so thats not an excuse... I guess the extra gear is throwing him off

Question Which way did he go George??????DUH!!!

Ok, let me check the owners manual.....do I take off in frist or third gear??....oh wait, the enigne has to be running..........duh!!!!
I think my 5 year old could do better. People who can't drive have no business owning this type of car.

thank God he didn't have a f-body, it would have been embarrassing to see him turn 11s through the 1/8th...

I'm sorry, did I miss something? Was this guy talking trash or something before hand or what's the reason for tearing into him in this video?

just thought that it was funny...

I don't really know him except from the track, but he is just your typical mustang owner, take that for what it is worth...

I didn't mean anything by the video and was bored so I decided to make a video... Mainly because the S10 in the first part was driven by my friend and he thought it was pretty damn funny that he was door-to-door with a Cobra(he doesn't think its fast or anything, just was having fun on the track last Thursday)... I just kept coming up with these ideas and decided to make a "You can't drive please return your car to the local ford dealership and trade it for a 3.8L or 4.0L Mustang" video...

Well, what if he couldn't drive it very well yet? Big deal. I understand you were trying to have fun and such, but I think it's pathetic, obviously he couldn't drive but he was TRYING. This is one of the reasons I haven't gone to a track yet, I WANT to go but I'm afraid of making myself look like a fool my first time there as I don't want to spin like a crazy man or what not.

Sorry to rain on your parade, but I think it's pretty shitty of you to make a video of someone who you don't know "except for at the track" and make fun of them. Now had this guy been talking **** or something in the beginning then it's fine....

I know it sounds like I'm being an *** but making fun of someone trying/new/can't drive well yet is like picking on a handicaped person, just not funny.

The guy had a blown GT before the Cobra...

Its not like he is new to them or anything... And he was pretty cocky in his "I should go mid 8s" talk...

I know him, just not on an everyday basis...

I didn't mean anything by the video, I know a 03' or 04' Cobra will smack around a Trans Am with a gooo driver, i'm not hating on the car, its just even everybody at the track was like "Why would you go out there if you launch like that?"... If I would have came here and posted "OMG, a Cobra went in the 10s through the 1/8th"... Everyone would have called B.S., this video proves that some people just don't need powerful cars and/or don't need to be on the drag strip until they are used to them... If you take a 6-speed Blown 390hp V8 and almost lose a 195hp 4.3L S10, you don't need to be out there and deserve to have a video made of your stupidity...

exactly, I simply thought it was funny that Cobras have this huge reputation and its funny to see a driver make them look so horrible... I have nothing against the guy and would have made the video had it been someone else or someone I know a lot better...

That is freakin sad. I was running 8.40's with a 2.0 60', going from idle(can't launch because the track slopes at the lights and you roll forward.), and I didn't have a tune or the catback. Not to mention trapping the SAME. Oh yeah, I drive a 96 Cobra with intake, exhuast, gears and Superchip handletuner(its crap, but waiting for a dyno tune)
