Default Help with a Nova Decal/Emblem

Hi,

This is my first post requesting some photoshop help. I need the following image done so I can input into my vinyl machine and make a decal. It would
be great if it could be done in .bmp format, otherwise I guess .jpg is fine.

I need the bar at the bottom taken out so just the word "Nova" is left and if the word could be colored in solid black that would be perfect. This allows my software to trace the edges of the lettering easily and make a smooth cut.

Thanks for your help.
These will be going on a set of custom fuel rail covers I'm doing for a guy with a 1964 Nova with an LS1 in it and I'll give full credit to whoever can help me with this decal.

Thanks

Bryan

Hey parbreak, the image is a little small, so I tried to blow it up a little without losing anything. How does this look?

Saving as a BMP was too large a file size, so jpg looks like it will have to do.

couldn't you just change it to black and white image and then vectorize it?
