I have respect for people who well, in reality, turn an economical car into a fun driving machine WHILE keeping it subtle and classy looking.

Not that fart-can stuff with the wings and all those garbage graphics and etc.
Dunno, that's just goofy and defeats the entire for real "tuner" concept to me....don't need to put on a turbo kit for 'X' amount of horse power then put in a stereo system and a body kit that gives you a worse horse power to weight ratio than what u started with lol..

Anyway, glad to see some one in the tuner world with their head screwed on right.

I appreciate that man....I also hate all the "ricey" mods that are out there, and I hate to say it but I started out ricing this car but thank the lord I didn't get too far before I saw the "light" lol........yea, no turbo or s/c for this honda, I am more into the n/a idea for this engine, just the way I think, turboing this engine for example - it has 10.2:1 compression, so to turbo it and do it right id have to lower the compression which to me takes the motor away from its true "form" and to s/c im not even sure, s/c isnt in the pic at all.......so heres a list of my mods, this is current..

Engine:
JDM B16A1 w/Y1 LSD trans (160 hp, 111tq at 8,200rpm stock)
AEM hybrid intake
Integra TypeR 4-1 header
Apexi World Sport 2 catback
Exedy cerametallic 3 puck clutch & lightweight racing flywheel
Energy shifter bushings
Fluidyne full core radiator

Wheels & Tires:
15X6.5 Rota Slipstreams
195/50/15 Dunlop Sp Sport FM901's
Rays lightweight lugnuts

Brakes:
Front and rear DA Integra brake conversions
Akebono rear brake pads
PBR Metal Master front brake pads
Earl's stainless steel brake lines

Suspension:
Koni Yellow shocks, H&R Race springs
Password JDM 3pt strut bar
EM Racing rear strut bar, rear c-pillar bar, rear triangulated c-pillar bar
Skunk2 lower rear strut bar

Outside:
(SiR is the japanese version of my civic)
SiR front-end conversion
SiR CF hood by VIS
SiR "Special Edition" taillights
SiR rear emblem by Honda
JDM Honda Access window visors

Inside:
SiR instrument cluster
Spoon shift ****
Spoon steering wheel
Momo hub adapter
Quick release hub

I'll admit it... My 2nd choice to building a LSX car was a boosted or n/a 93 hatch. I dig imports like I dig domestics, both of em gotta be tastefully built.

Yea, 92-95 hatches also known as EG's (chassis code) are great looking cars, most people refer to them as the "shoe" bodystyle lol, if you think about it, they do kinda look like a shoe . But yea, you have lots of opportunities to either build them nice or ricey......
