Default Quick pics of my truck.

On the way home I stopped and snapped a couple pics of my truck since I cleaned it yesterday and got the rear lifted a little more.

And for those wondering the truck has a 3" bodylift, torsion bars cranked 1 3/4", new shackles on the rear to raise it up ~2" and 305/70/16 Nitto Terra Grapplers. I have about 12" of clerance b/w the ground and my front and rear diff's. Not bad for the little bit of money I have invested in lifting it.

Kinda looks like my old 1998 Dakota w/ a 3in body and 33's. Anyway, here is a pic of what I have had the last 4 years.

Nice, have always liked that body style for the Durangos best. The new style looks too boxy and bulky to me.

Never been one for body lifts unless you just need a couple inches for tire clearance. After a while, well with mud trucks at least some of those body lifts will start squeaking on you on every little bump.

Anyhow, nice truck, probably the only SUV lookin' thing i'd buy.

Yeah I would've bought a suspension lift, but for 01+ the only one offered is a Rancho 3" and it cost around $1500 not including new control arms, SS brake lines, etc. It would take me a while to save up that much money to blow on a lift that small and also a hard thing for me to fathom, so opted for the BL and turned torsion bars and shackles.

I have a 78 K5 now that I'm gonna do a 8" suspension, 3" body and 40" SS Thornbirds, so the Durango is now a pavement queen...with *****. LOL

Anyway, here is a snap shot of the my Dakota. Like ur durango, I could have used another 2 inches in back, but it was pretty much level. Only reason I got rid of it is because I needed a bigger truck to haul a car trailor.

make sure to check your ball joints, hub and bearing and control arm bushings, they tend to go out after any suspension mods
