Most likely the exhaust was completely stock. The C6 ZO6's have baffles in their muffles that open after 3500rpm I beleive, this allows for almost straight through exhaust flow . The baffles work similar to the flanges in electric cutouts, at rpms under 3500 exhaust gases are sent through the chambers in the muffler and out one of the 2 tips on each side. After a certain rpm (3500 I beleive) the baffles in the other 2 tips on each side open and a good portion of the exhaust gases are sent straight out, not being restricted by the muffler. Pretty nifty . I guess it could be comparable to borla catback in which the plate system restricts how much exhaust is sent directly out, and how much exhaust is sent down the piping and through the muffler. But a flange takes the place of various plates.

required to hit 500rwhp on the Eaton. 500rwhp with a decent driver
and traction is good for a minimum of 123mph...which isn't too far
off the 125-127mph traps of a stock Z06. If I had to guess, I'd say he's
only making 440rwhp or so.
That's all meaningless really. The result speaks for itself. The C6 Z06 is
incredbile.

I didn't realize a Cobra with that mod list would get stomped on like that by a 505 flywheel hp car.
No wonder I can't get one to bite when I'm out trolling in the Z with the 200 jets in and a fresh bottle.
